| The Rosenberg 32's Horror |
| 32 Cocker Spaniels were seized from a breeder in Rosenberg, Texas on May 29, 2009. They'd been kept in cramped, rusting cages with foul water in an unventilated, uninsulated shed. They were so matted that some couldn't walk. Some mats had attached themselves to the wire cages. All the Cockers were suffering from severe neglect, some with horrific infections. Texas for saving these Cockers. It's sickening
to know that anyone could neglect innocents
to such a degree. A most horrible fact, apart
from the suffering these dogs endured, is
that the "breeder" who had them was, up
until now, a "reputable" breeder in good
standing with the American Spaniel Club.
Events will undoubtedly bring to light her
excuse but there is NO EXCUSE for neglect
of animals that depend on us for every
aspect of the lives.
